雷丁区社区学院 recognizes that learning is not limited to the classroom experience and awards credits towards its degrees from the following sources: colleges and universities accredited by recognized regional accreditation agencies, colleges and universities not accredited by recognized regional accreditation agencies, instruction or educational experiences in 员工发展 and 社区教育成功完成 大学先修课程考试, CLEP exams or DANTES exams, life experiences or professional certifications, and other experiences which may be reasonably regarded as resulting in knowledge and skill corresponding to courses and programs offered at 中国澳门博彩官网. Credits earned through these means are defined as “articulated credits”.
The award of college credit verifies that the student has acquired knowledge, skills or competencies comparable to what would be acquired in a college course. Unless the College has evaluated and approved the courses or programs in question prior to the request for award of credit, the burden of proof rests with the student requesting the award of credit.
Students may earn no more than 75% of the credits required for associate's degrees through articulated credit; a minimum of 25% of the degree must be earned as regular undergraduate credit at 中国澳门博彩官网. Students may earn no more than 50% of the credits required for college certificates or diplomas through articulated credit; a minimum of 50% of the certificate or diploma must be earned as regular undergraduate credit at 中国澳门博彩官网
Credits earned through articulation may not transfer to other colleges or universities. Students planning to transfer after attending 中国澳门博彩官网 should contact their intended transfer school to inquire about the transferability of articulated credit.
Please review the links to the left for detailed instructions about each articulation process. If you are interested in articulating credit from a source not indicated, or if you have questions about the articulation process, please contact the Welcome Center at 610-607-6224.
